Xiaomi stays first in the Indian wearable device market

According to the report, shipments of wearable devices in India exceeded 1 million units in the second quarter, up 66% year-on-year and 40% quarter-on-quarter, making it the best quarter in the field of wearable devices in India. The top three brands have maintained their respective positions.
The bracelet accounted for nearly 90% of India’s wearable device shipments in the second quarter.
In addition to the bracelet, shipments of wearable computing watches also increased by 34%. Apple is the leader in the smart watch market. In the second quarter, one of the three smart watches sold in India was Apple Watch.
In the second quarter, Xiaomi’s wearable device shipments increased by 31% from the previous quarter and continued to rank first in the Indian market.
Most of Xiaomi’s wearables are still sold through online retailers, but Xiaomi has now significantly enriched the retail channel through its popular partner stores, selected large retail stores and exclusive retail stores.
In addition to Xiaomi, the second to fifth place are GOQii, Titan, Fitbit and Lenovo Group. Lenovo re-entered the top five after three quarters, and the company launched three new bracelets to strengthen the company’s position in the fitness bracelet segment, helping the company’s shipments achieve strong three-digit percentage growth in the second quarter.
