Qualcomm released Snapdragon 675, said AI application performance increased by 50%

On the morning of October 23, Qualcomm announced the launch of the Snapdragon 675 mobile platform in Hong Kong. Qualcomm said that the Snapdragon 675 will fully enhance the experience of smartphones in games, photos and AI, and AI applications can achieve an overall performance improvement of 50%. The terminal equipped with the platform is expected to be available in the first quarter of next year.

In terms of games, the Snapdragon 675 can provide a smooth high frame rate gaming experience. At present, Qualcomm is cooperating with game developers, and the Snapdragon 600 series will have a new level of gaming experience.
For shooting, the Snapdragon 675 allows users to take professional-quality photos and videos. It supports front or rear three cameras with features such as telephoto, wide-angle and super wide-angle image capture, as well as enhanced portrait mode, 3D face unlocking and a sophisticated selfie.
In terms of artificial intelligence, it is equipped with the multi-core artificial intelligence engine AI Engine, which achieves an overall performance improvement of up to 50% in AI applications. In addition, global independent software developers including Vision Technology Face\++, NetEase, Shang Tang Technology SenseTime also support the platform.
It is reported that the 675 mobile platform has been available since today, and the consumer terminals based on it are expected to be available in the first quarter of 2019.
